Path of Exile is one of the most popular looter action RPG games you can play at the moment. Finally, it’s coming to PS4 and Pro systems. Path of Exile is a free to play game developed by Grinding Gear Games available on PC for a very long time and is now scheduled to release on PS4 in 2019.

On the official Path of Exile forums, Grinding Gear Games explained the delay and apologized to fans who have been eagerly awaiting the game’s release on PS4. After playing the PC version on and off for years, I can tell you one thing, these developers are committed and have made countless improvements to the game. Therefore, their explanation does make a lot of sense and although it stings that we won’t be able to enter the world of Wraeclast this year, we definitely have something to look forward to.

Path of Exile launched on PC and has since been ported over to the Xbox One. In December, PS4 owners will finally be able to enjoy the game that Diablo III should have been. You see, Path of Exile is a hardcore ARPG made by hardcore gamers for hardcore gamers and simply put, the game is massive. Come to 5mmo.com now, you can buy Path of Exile Currency with fast delivery and 100% safety.

Speaking of PlayStation 4 players, they've been looking forward to having a go at Path of Exile before 2018 ends but were left disappointed after Grinding Gear revealed that the PS4 version has been delayed to early February 2019. Wilson reminded that Christmas in New Zealand is quite a long holiday, where staff often take two or three weeks, which is still only part of the reason behind Path of Exile's PS4 delay. "In addition, there are shutdowns for publishers over Christmas. We wanted to make sure that we’ve given them enough time to actually test the game fully", Wilson added.

Grinding Gear is now expecting to finish the certification process by January, with the game potentially launching in early February on PS4. The studio won't be sitting by idly twiddling its thumbs between now and then, as the studio said the extra time will allow the developer to further improve Path of Exile's performance and frame rate for PS4.

It is definitely a blow for those who were waiting with bated breath for the PlayStation 4 release, but there are many fine games that have been released for the PS4 this year, along with dozens of other fine exclusives for the system. Wraeclast is still coming ARPG fans. Just wait and play other games in the meantime.
