Is a vacuum sound energy?

A vacuum itself doesn't produce sound because sound requires a medium, like air, water, or a solid, to travel through. In a vacuum, such as outer space, there are no molecules to transmit sound waves. Sound is a mechanical wave that moves through a medium by vibrating molecules, so without that medium, there is no sound.

However, you could still have sound energy in a Vacuum Sound, but only if it were created in a different environment and then somehow transferred into the vacuum (like via a mechanical structure). In a vacuum, there would be no transmission of those sound waves because the energy wouldn't have a medium to propagate through. In summary, while sound energy exists, a vacuum itself can't transmit or carry sound energy.
