Resort in Egypt should I choose for an August vacation?

Every year, I plan my trip in advance, but this time my boss dug in his heels and only agreed to let me go in August. He doesn't offer any other months, so I have no choice. I really want to go to Egypt because I was there once in the fall and loved it. But the heat in August is scary, even though friends say they've heard there's a breeze during the day at some resorts, which makes the vacation better. I can't decide where to go to avoid the heat, and I'm wondering if there is somewhere that would be a better option. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi! I've visited Egypt a couple of times already in August, as vacation is only given during that month, so I understand the situation. You need to prepare yourself for the heat, but it's actually easier to handle than you might think. Especially in Hurghada. There's a constant breeze. You're surprised that the thermometer is at 40 degrees. I usually looked for shade during the day, but the mornings and evenings were simply wonderful. So if you're worried, choose Hurghada or El Gouna because August there is absolutely fine.
